heya, I spent this saturday on realizing an idea a had a while ago. so take a look if you want to. (as always, do watch it in original quality if you have the bandwidth) and give it some love if you like it: http://www.reddit.com/r/Planetside/comm ... alized_no/
thanks! well, if I recall correctly, it was DopplerSHIFT who did that loop for some reason I've been riding with his galaxies several times and he always insist on flying upside down and doing tricks with his galaxy.
make a full feature lenght, 2 hour long film ... about planetside ! get a story, would be fricken awesome
Yeah, Doppler has been doing his acrobatics for ages I tried it once, didn't make it without any airframes A 2 hour video would be sooooo freaking awesome!
Really high quality content you are making I must say (what's up with swedes and video making skills?)
Your graphics look so pretty. What kind of system do you have that lets you run at max resolution with all the settings turned up?
don't know learn by doing, I guess thank you (all)! make a full length movie would be cool, but it's hard enough to make a 2 minute video imo >< ulti, yeah it's quite odd  doom, I don't have a new high end rig. I built it early 2011. mobo: msi-7681 cpu: i5-2500k (OC:ed to 4.2ghz) ram: 8gb gpu: gtx570 running the game on an intel ssd, win8 64bit (which I think sucks sloppy donkey balls on a desktop) I have everything on high (textures on ultra though), ambient occlusion off, motion blur on (looks nice, but makes you worse in combat imo), render distance 3000, gpu particle quality/physx on medium. it's not really a super smooth experience in big fights with a lot of explosions, but it's playable, for me, and it looks better on video than how it is to play. keep in mind that the video/game looks better without all the icon clutter, and I do some post-processing on the clips when I render in sony vegas. I'm sharpening the clips and I'm adding a tiny bit of contrast/saturation which even though it's very subtle and not directly noticeable, it does make it look much better imo.
I do no post-processing at all on my vids(contrast, color correction and that kinda stuff)... Maybe I should learn from the master.
FYI, Wrel is among the people who like your videos, as a result, your video is featured on his channel for a good while
tack I noticed afterwards that it could be more precise at some points, but what the heck ^^ I love lantmännens commercials =)
