To connect to the Survival Test Server, paste steam://connect/185.16.85.10:27010 into your browser (doesn't seem to work on Chrome, use IE to do this). This will load up SE and connect you to the server. For those of you that have been following Space Engineers, you may well be aware that they released a major update on Christmas Day. This introduced unlimited world distances, unlimited asteroids, 'exploration' and much improved netcode (this is the biggy!) As such, I thought I'd get myself a remotely hosted Dedicated Server so that we can have a bit of fun. Space Engineers is not yet an official Trident game - This server is a test. Perhaps SE will become a game division in the future, but it's perhaps best to wait until the game is 'complete' for that. That said, I will keep this world going for some considerable time. It's remotely hosted by fragnet and seems to provide good performance. Feel free to use this as your 'home' server. Settings: - Asteroids, Infinite, Medium Density - Respawn ship timer multiplier x10 - To discourage people from farming respawn ships. Make sure you don't crash it! - 1-1-1 - Ship grinders, welders and respawn ships mean that the default settings are now usable. This is real survival baby! Enjoy.
Yes, it is playable now EDIT: Been on for a few hours with BK2. It's very stable and lag free. Plenty of random people joining too. Quite a hardcore server, no easy starts
The PvP is better than in Minecraft Also, you can build much more complex stuff. The guys from the video above made some good videos about the game. If you liked Minecraft and if you like building and flying spaceships. That game is for you.

I have done some cleaning of the world save and the sim speed has now increased from 0.25 to 0.85. Enjoy
You're not losing anything by waiting. The game is still very buggy (as to be expected from an Alpha). It's only going to get better
While I increased from 0.17 (0.13 - 0.25) to 0.4 (0.33 - 0.48) during your clean up, I am today back at 0.27.

We now have another Trident Server running, that we can now properly control. We have the full server and there is no cost. IF you want to join in, and help build the fleet. Login to Trident Server 1 / World 3. Any ships you had in the previous world can be copied across as soon as Mr Wood has had a chance to login. Enjoy.

if you look for "Trident Server 1 (World 3)" it should be up and running. If you cant find it looking for Thor76 on Team speak, as i am on holiday at the moment and wont be back till Sunday. Trident Server 1 is set to restart twice per day, and auto clean thereby giving a reasonably fast server. Have fun and dont get the mothership destroyed.
Hi all, Apologises for not getting back to you sooner, The server is up and running. We had down time again due to an update on the server and to Space engineers to self, the server is back on-line. If you can't find the server in The list. sort the list by World name to it display Z first. and it should show up. Alternatively from Steam go to View > Servers and on the Favourites add new server and paste the following into the box, make sure you include the full IP and port other wise it won't connect. 81.149.91.131:27016 As Critor stated I'll be on Team Speak UK time between 6pm and 10pm, most nights regards Thor
