That's nice. But... your first one is still the best for me it was the best PS2 montage ever (Robert Stoneman should kiss your @ss for that :lol
Awesome job on another great planetside video, you really know how to capture the beauty of this game. Keep it up.
thanks all for all the great feedback I wish I had it. thanks, reach! I say the same about you. thanks well, that video is up again, but with different music though. well, I am Slow Magic just kidding. it's a copyrighted song. I'm having problems not using and getting inspired by music I really like. but the artist is not on one of those old gigantic fossil record companies still alive from the 80's. I did some research and I've seen others using that song for other kind of montages without issues. and Slow Magic deserves more exposure. hell, I've already gotten 2-3 comments on reddit/ps universe where people are happy that they discovered this artist. I think it's all good in that sense =)
From what I've heard about copyright music, most artists are satisfied with being mentioned in the credits (possibly with a link to their site)
Artists might be, record companies are not and will send automated takedown notices to YouTube (they have massive botnets which download and analyse YT videos looking for copyrighted content they own the rights to)
yeah, most copyrighted songs are detected within minutes after the video is uploaded. but I've recently contacted some smaller labels which release music I enjoy and they've actually given it a go as long as you give credit and don't claim that it's fair use of their music (because of course it isn't), and that's fine with me. I don't have a plan to make money off of my videos, so the small amount of money the views generate goes to the record company and I would say that it's not a bad deal for both label and artist, or myself for that matter
