Error 1-0 Launcher cant connect

    Hi,
    a friend of mine wanted to install PS2 over Steam today. After installing the LaunchPad opened... and was unable to connect. A big red error message statet this with the Error 1-0. This isnt a G-Error and i didnt find anything usefull on the net till now.

    He tried downloading it over ProSieben, which wasnt even able to install. He says, firewall is set to allow every PS2 related stuff.

    Does anyone has a solution for this Error?

    System is Windows 8

    Is he using a proxy? If so turn it off
