Re: YOUR CALL TO DUTY IS HERE! Is that really your main issue my post? Of course it's not a quote from somewhere else, it's a quote from what we would be if we applied that philosophy. The context should have been a small hint. JAFMeatbag, never seen that before, nice. You're sensible people so you should understand what I'm saying. Possibly we need to add "no sexism, racism or homophobia" to the Trident Rules and Regulations but it shouldn't be necessary.
Re: YOUR CALL TO DUTY IS HERE! thats the one and only issue I have with your post, I totally agree with the rest. I just overlooked the quotes
Re: YOUR CALL TO DUTY IS HERE! Cool cool cool. Meh, misunderstanding when writing happens all the time.
The edit was mine, I apologise. It was intended as a joke regarding how you get repeatedly called gay while playing Call of Duty, but could have definitely been phrased better. My apologies to anyone who took offense, I can edit it back if needed.
Re: YOUR CALL TO DUTY IS HERE! I think this would be a good idea anyway, to make it clear to everyone that Trident is against this sort of behaviour we're a big outfit, I doubt everyone is sensible
JackJack233 - I didn't take it as anything but a joke, but do agree that it's just not got a place. It's both a language and a culture issue for me, but I know your intent wasn't mean
As part of the April Fools joke posts were edited up and down within this thread by others as well as me, don't worry, serious posts are always safe from malicious editing.
Re: YOUR CALL TO DUTY IS HERE! I'm not gunna lie. I'm that guy every ***-**** *************,******** crash some say I should simply stop playing. they are lesser men.
I remember they did an experiment to do with internet speed in SA. They sent about 1GB of data from one office to another . . . Hold on. I interneted it, here's the story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/8248056.stm
Re: YOUR CALL TO DUTY IS HERE! Have you tryed this? TCP optimizer http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php Read some guides, dont know how it really works.
There were a few of these type of "races". One of our newspapers claimed it was cheaper to fly someone to Hong Kong to download "x" every month, than what they were quoted by local ISP's. This was in around 2006. It got better. If it wasn't true, it wasn't far off. Thanks, but I'm doubtful that is would work, since my connection is maxed out at 33kBps. I cannot fight in enemy platoons, and if I die somewhat close to them, I usually crash out. Enemy platoons requires my connection to boost up to ~45kBps. Marginal difference, but that's how it is. I'll post more details in the Internet Speed thread.
