Other Games DivisionWe are happy to announce the Other Games Division. This division allows anyone to join Trident without needing to join any of our other divisions that require an ingame account. If you have friends that want to play one of our supported games or any other (non-division) game, they can use this division to join us on the forums! The division will give them access to the Trident Community-forums, the Other Games-forums as well as the public areas (Trident Official and Public). This division will also be joined automatically if one becomes a member of Trident through any other division. All current members have also been added to this division. This has the added benefit that if you leave another division (e.g. PS2), you will still keep access to the Trident Community-forums and the Other Games-forums as long as you stay in the Other Games-division! EventsYou may have already noticed them. We now have an Events-calendar. Upcoming events for your divisions will show up at least 4 days in advance at the top of every page. You can also see all (public) events on the overview page. For now, only the basics have been implemented. Expect more features for this. More site updatesAlong with the above new features, we have also made some updates to the website and forums. These include division-icons underneath your name when you make a post, white links instead of gray ones and a buttload of backend improvements and bugfixes. If you have any feedback, bugreports, suggestions, praise, questions, whatever you want to say about any of the updates, including the events and the new division, feel free to post them in this topic, in Technical Infrastructure or in my pm. Want to help out?We/I can always use some extra hands to help out with developing our beloved forums. If you want to help out, here are some ways you can help: Give us feedback and suggestions on the site/forums and report any bugs/oddities you may find. Help us in styling the website/forums if you have some mad website design skills. Aid in development of the site. PHP experience required. I'm too tired to think of anything else. If you are interested and think you might be able to contribute, just send me a PM or poke me on TeamSpeak! Wall! I missed you!
Well as you can see I broke something. I included a youtube link and tried out several things. It gave me an error everytime until I removed the link. Now there is loads of FNO events that do not have a belonging post in the Operation information section 0.o Edit: Error Message And this happened So even though I got that error it went through and created the event
Some more feedback: the post on the homepage loads in as a desktop size page, on my phone, all other elements are loaded in as normal phone size elements.
I'll delete the duplicates tonight. Odd, first time it does that. I'll have to take a look at that tonight. Thanks for reporting!
That was no wall We need a larger one (and make the NC pay?) In all seriousness this is an amazing addition to the site, Nice work Cainer!
Is there a possibility to sort the event calendar by date? Or is that big leadership meeting some kind of "pinned" event, so that it stays at the top always? I find it mildly disturbing that the events are not in date order.
Yes it is a pinned event. I am however going to change it so that they are always sorted by date and pinned events will just be highlighted some other way.
yes, unfortunately. I spent 4 hours trying to get it to work in Chrome, only to forget to check if it also works in FF and IE (I don't event want to know how badly it looks in IE). I'll try to find a way to get it to work in the other browsers as well tonight.
....and checked with chrome that removing that "absolute" does not break the header in Chrome neither.
Unfortunately the absolute is there for a reason. Without the absolute, long eventtitles will just overflow the box and push the timer too far.
